		<description>Hey Geoff, I haven&#039;t been following most of your adventures, but this blog entry popped up on my Facebook today and caught my attention. I just got back from about 7 months abroad and I came away with a lot of the same sentiments. For me I think part of it is that we were raised in the U.S. and the culture here really feels like home. The other part of it is that I found it difficult to appreciate the good things about American culture until seeing it contrasted with a few other cultures. Whatever the reasons, its nice to see someone else come away with similar sentiments.

Just wanted to interject that nostalgia for small businesses has turned into a lefty thing, of late ... if you were really a Republican, you&#039;d know that small businesses being crowded out by massive corporations simply proves that capitalism is working as it should.</description>
